Day 23 Galena Bridge to Kalbarri 85 kms

Packing up in the morning.

Everyone enjoyed this bush camp as the scenery was lovely. The toilet was a bit ordinary but at least there was one. The campsite ended up quite crowded with some arrivals in the early hours of the morning also. I think we were the earliest ones to leave the site.

Martin couldn't work out what was wrong with his bike and kept stopping. Debra eventually located the crack in the frame and Martin had no option but to hope on the moulton. He thought he was going to have to pedal harder because of the smaller wheels but this wasn't the case. I don't think he enjoyed the experience as he jumped on Alf's spare bike as soon as he got the chance.
Martin split his frame & had to ride the spare bike for awhile.

Pierre was into everything. I bet he was the one who kept eating all the morning tea supplies.

The flora was changing today & they had a lovely ride in with the wind behind them- or so it looked from where we were sitting (in the car).

The group visited Hawk's Head and explored some of the terrain. Leisurely day with lots of sight seeing.
Pierre found a little friend

Great downhill descent into Kalbarri with great scenery. Collis & I decided we needed a break from the cyclists (or they needed a break from us) so we left them at the caravan park to manage themselves.
